St. Martin’s Episcopal Church is committed to serving our local community and building meaningful connections. We partner with a variety of groups that provide support for families, youth, and those facing challenges in our local area and beyond.

Barbara’s Red Stocking  

Thanks to dedicated volunteers Barbara’s Red Stocking has provided Christmas meals to local families in Fairlee, Orford, West Fairlee, Vershire, and Piermont for over 30 years. Brookhaven Treatment & Learning Center

Brookhaven Treatment and Learning Center in Chelsea, Vermont provides trauma-informed care and education for children ages 6–14 facing emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. Services include therapeutic residential care, counseling, and specialized education to help youth heal and thrive.

Central VT Adult Education  

Central Vermont Adult Education has provided free learning and literacy services to adults and out-of-school youth (16+) for nearly 60 years. Serving Washington, Orange, and Lamoille counties, CVAE helps over 500 learners annually from 47 towns across Central Vermont.

Hartford Dismas House 

Dismas House is a supportive community for former prisoners transitioning from incarceration. Living in community accomplishes the Dismas mission to reconcile former prisoners with society and society with former prisoners.

Episcopal Hospital Chaplaincy  

The Episcopal Hospital Chaplaincy offers pastoral presence and spiritual connection for Episcopalians at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) during times of illness and vulnerability.

Episcopal Relief and Development  

Episcopal Relief & Development is the compassionate response of The Episcopal Church to human suffering in the world and serves to bring together the generosity of Episcopalians and others with the needs of the world.

Good Neighbor Health Clinics

The Good Neighbor Health Clinics provide medical and dental services to uninsured and underinsured individuals in the Upper Valley.

HIV/HCV Resource Center

The HIV/HCV Resource Center offers medical case management services to individuals living in Grafton, Sullivan and Coos counties in New Hampshire and Windsor and Orange counties in Vermont. 

HomeShare Vermont

HomeShare Vermont is a nonprofit that helps people share their homes, matching hosts and guests for affordable housing and companionship—a practical way to reduce housing costs, combat loneliness, and build community.

Little Rivers Healthcare

Little Rivers Healthcare provides respectful, comprehensive primary health to all, regardless of ability to pay.

Migrant Justice Vermont

Migrant Justice Vermont builds the voice, capacity, and power of the immigrant farmworker community to organize for economic justice and human rights. Through leadership development, members deepen their skills and knowledge to organize for long-term, systemic change.

Orange East Senior Center  

The Orange East Senior Center in Bradford, VT, is a community hub for older adults, focusing on wellness through prepared and delivered meals, engaging activities, and essential transportation for medical needs or shopping—fostering independence and social connection in a supportive setting.

Safeline

Safeline works to end physical, emotional, and sexual violence through direct service, education, advocacy, and social change.

SHARe

SHARe provides a warm welcome to asylum seekers and refugees settling in the Upper Valley, helping newcomers with housing, jobs, education, English language learning, healthcare, legal support, physical and creative outlets, social involvement, and more. 

Upper Valley Ambulance

Upper Valley Ambulance is a non-profit organization that provides high-quality, and affordable emergency care to nine member towns in Vermont & New Hampshire’s Upper Valley region.

Upper Valley Haven

Founded in 1980, the Haven provides food, temporary shelter, supportive housing, children’s after school and summer programs, community outreach, and problem solving support to those in need. The Haven services are free of cost and support more than 10,000 people annually.

Vermont Interfaith Action

Vermont Interfaith Action transforms people and communities through the development of leadership skills in grassroots community organizing methodology, achieving transformative change on issues that adversely affect marginalized individuals.

Visiting Nurse and Hospice for VT and NH

Visiting Nurse and Hospice brings high-quality medical and non-medical care directly into the homes of individuals and families throughout Vermont and New Hampshire.

Willing Hands    Willing Hands recovers fresh food from farms, grocery stores, restaurants, and wholesalers, and delivers it year-round, for free, to approximately 80 social service organizations across the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire, serving 30,000 individuals annually
