Outreach

Parishioners at St. Martin’s reach out to the community, nation and world in a variety of ways. Individual parishioners donate their time and talent to many local programs that meet basic human needs. We designate part of our annual pledge income for various outreach projects, including the following:

- Upper Valley Hospice and Visiting Nurses
- Red Stocking (an organization that assists struggling families in the Fairlee/Orford area)
- DHMC Chaplaincy
- COVER (Home Repair and The ReCover Store)
- Episcopal Relief and Development
- Brookhaven Home for Boys
- Safeline (an organization that assists victim of domestic abuse)
- Emergency heating assistance for local families
- Bradford Area Interchurch Council
- Volunteer work in El Salvador
On the first Sunday of each month we have an ingathering of food donations for food shelves located in West Fairlee and Bradford.
